HE DOESN''T REMEMBER

The Word of God indicates that the Lord not only forgives a repentant sinner's iniquity ... but releases it from His memory. 

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Isaiah 43:25

When you receive Jesus Christ as Lord, your sins (past, present, and future) are completely forgiven. The Son of God removed that weight from your shoulders and placed it upon His own ...   

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness ... 1 Peter 2:24

Calvary's cross changed everything ... 

God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 

But God’s 'not remembering' should not be seen as 'forgetfulness'. The Lord knows everything; He is omniscient. However, God can 'will' not to remember your sin ... 

Then he adds: 'Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more'. Hebrews 10:17

And know this, pilgrim ... 

In your human relationships, you can either dwell on the offenses committed against you ... or lay them aside. Painful memories lose their sting when, by His Spirit, you extend mercy and grace to the offender. It's not that you actually 'forget' the sin as if it never happened, but you have been given the power to let it go through 'forgiveness'. 

Peace is found in your 'God-given' ability to 'remember no more'.
