According to Scripture, there are two 'Adams' ...
The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam, a life-giving Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45
All humanity is bound by that which we inherited from the first Adam ... Therefore as sin came into the world through one man and death through sin, so death has spread to all men. Romans 5:12
Everyone is born into this world with a physical body like that of the first Adam, created for life on this earth. The conditions of frailty, disease, and death are the result of sin's power to corrupt.
Enter the 'last Adam', Jesus Christ ...
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. 1 Corinthians 15:47-49
Just as Adam was the forerunner of the human race; Christ is the first of those resurrected unto eternal life.
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Philippians 3:20-21
Christians are assured that our sinless heavenly bodies will not be constrained by the natural laws of this world. We can't even imagine this. To be forever strong, disease-free, and imperishable is beyond our 'ken'.
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
