MIGHTY TO SAVE

Jesus Christ is not only 'mighty to save' us from the consequences of our sin ... He is 'mighty to abide' until we are with Him face to face. The Lord did not redeem your soul only to leave the work of sanctification up to you.

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

He gives us a new heart and day by day transforms us into His likeness. A man who once loved sin ... will abhor even the thought of it. As he continues to surrender his life to Christ's Lordship, an intimate relationship with the Savior unfolds ...

The Lord your God is with you, He is Mighty to Save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love ..Zephaniah 3:17

Lay hold on His mighty arm.

Spurgeon - We know the MIGHT of Jesus by the battles which He has fought, the victories which He has won over sin and death and hell, and we clap our hands as we see Him leading captivity captive in the majesty of His strength.

Every trial or heartache you experience in this life never goes unnoticed by the Lord. When you are in the middle of a storm, turn your focus away from that which is causing fear. Look instead to the One who has power to calm the sea ,,, and remember His promise.

I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

The unrelenting waves of worry that crash against your heart and mind are quieted when you look into the face of Jesus.

For He is Mighty to Save.
