WHAT TO DO WITH CHRIST

Once the Gospel is made known to the heart and mind of a lost soul ... it will either be believed or cast aside. There is no indeterminate middle ground where one can hide from the consequences of that decision. The message that proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior cannot be 'unheard'.

Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? Hebrews 10:28-29

Unbelief in what took place on Calvary's cross kindles God's wrath because it dishonors His Son ...

1) It rejects the truth found in Christ's redemptive act and maligns His will to be our Intercessor ... For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

2) It denies His deep love for us. Christ's compassionate heart is stabbed by our distrust ... For the love of Christ compels us so that we no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died and rose on our behalf. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

3) It refuses to acknowledge Christ's authority. We pull Him down from His throne by imposing our will ... For you granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those you have given Him. (John 17:2)

4) It questions the sufficiency of Christ: His ability to be all we need ... It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty, I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. (Revelation 21:6)

It is impossible for man to honestly state 'I have no opinion concerning Jesus'. One either believes He is The Way, The Truth, The Life, and no one comes to the Father but by Him ... or he willfully dismisses Him.

What will you do with Christ?
