KEPT FROM FALLING

When the Gospel of Jesus Christ is accepted by faith, we are brought into a relationship with God that guarantees salvation. 

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. John 10:28-29

Nothing in the created universe has the power to remove a Christian from that divine grip.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

'Eternal security' was purchased by Christ, promised by the Father, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. The doctrine that states a person can lose his salvation is false. 

'Eternal security' is the result of God's claim on your life ... not you maintaining your own salvation. 

You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. By grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 2:8-9

Praise the Lord and worship Him for His goodness, for He is worthy ...  

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 24-25
