FROM HIM, THROUGH HIM, AND TO HIM

There are three things man is sure to ponder at some point. From where did we come? How do we live? and Why? The Bible makes it plain ... 

For from Him and through Him and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)

• From where did we come? From God. 

He is the absolute origin and source of life ... His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. (Romans 1:20)

• How do we live? Through God.

His Son is the Way, the Truth, and the Life ... There is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. (1 Corinthians 8:6)

• Why? To bring glory To God.  

Praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and worship belong to Him alone ... Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created. (Revelation 4:11)

From start to finish, we are wholly dependent on the Lord. 

To fully grasp the sovereignty of God (i.e. His omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience) is beyond our ken. We must learn to trust Him by faith. 

Thomas Constable - God is the source from which all things come, the means by which all things happen, and the goal toward which all things are moving. He is the originator, sustainer, and finisher of everything. Therefore, He deserves all glory forever.  

God sent His only begotten Son to pay a debt He did not owe so you can possess what you could not earn ... forgiveness and eternal life. 

Surrender to His Lordship and be saved from the wrath to come.
