SAVING GRACE

Today's organized religion has corrupted the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Untold numbers are made to believe that they play a part in their own salvation ... 

These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. They worship Me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. (Mark 7:6-7)

We have absolutely nothing of value with which to negotiate ... 

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Saving Grace is defined as the 'unearned favor' of God toward lost mankind. It was made possible by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ ...

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

Salvation is the Lord's work. It begins with Him, it is applied by Him, and it is maintained through Him. 

It's easy to assume that 'our' faith is a contributing factor in a peaceful relationship with God. It's hard to grasp that faith was never 'ours' to begin with ...  

Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

Don't allow the truth of a 'JESUS PERIOD' theology slip through your fingers. 'Saving Grace' is His gift ... and even your ability to accept it comes from Him.
