THE EVIDENCE

A lost and dying world holds contempt for the Christian faith. Either it claims God doesn't exist at all ... or invents a deity that satisfies a self-indulgent, egocentric theology.

Mankind will be held responsible for how it processes 'evidence'. There are four ways God reveals Himself:

1. Creation

Nature itself discloses who He is ... Ever since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, because they are understood through the things He has made. So humans are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)

It is continually being reaffirmed ... The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays His handiwork. Day after day it speaks out; night after night it reveals His greatness. (Psalm 19:1-2)

2. Man's Conscience

Though many suppress it, an imparted desire to know Him lies within every person ... He has also planted eternity, a sense of divine purpose, in the human heart; a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

The very concept of 'right' and 'wrong' comes from Him ... They show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing them. (Romans 2:15)

3. The Person of Jesus Christ

He is the living, breathing, flesh-and-blood, unveiling of God's essence ... The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

The more intimately you know Him, the more knowledge you have of God ... Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over it all. (Colossians 1:15)

4. The Bible

God is revealed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ ... You examine the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is those very Scriptures that testify about Me. (John 5:39)

His nature and intent are recorded there ... For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

'Organized religion' routinely acknowledges His existence, but God desires that we know Him intimately ... as beloved children to a devoted Father.
