Even though Jesus knew everything about your frailty and sin ... He chose you, came for you, and redeemed you anyway. Christ not only secured your salvation but continues to intercede on your behalf. You are held in His loving grip.
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. John 10:28-29
Nothing in heaven or earth can grab you from the protection of God's hand. I say it again ... not one thing in the created universe has the power to remove a Christian from the hand of His Lord and Savior.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
If you are indeed in Christ, you belong to God. You are His treasured possession and as such ... 'you are not our own'.
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
All that you have, all that you are, and all that you achieve are not yours any longer. They are an offering to be used in your service to the Lord.
Oh, dear pilgrim ... fear not. Your life is in the mighty grip of God’s grace.
