JEZEBEL

She was the wife of Ahab, the king of Israel. Jezebel convinced her husband to worship Baal (the idol of fertility) and put to death the prophets. So evil was her character that she is considered the epitome of corruption, immorality, and idolatry.

There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife. 1 Kings 21:25

The loathsome spirit that once defined her life has now breached the walls of many of today's churches. Organized religion has bowed the knee to its deceptive influence.

In essence, Jesus Christ is assigned a back seat while false teachers use His name to bring credibility to self-serving doctrines. Believing that Biblical truths have little importance ... an entertaining sermon, containing human solutions to life's difficult problems, is proffered instead.

Paul issued this warning ... 

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-8

The spirit of Jezebel wants man to see God in a casual manner and 'repentance' to never be mentioned. This theology controls its adherents by tapping into pride and excusing one's penchant for sin. 

All those who love the Lord and His Word, are considered intolerant and hateful. They are to be silenced in these 'last days' by any means necessary ... as were the prophets of old, at Jezebel's hand.
