Whenever a society turns away from God, long-held moral standards disappear. Mankind plummets into an abyss of ever-deepening depravity. Things once considered objectionable become commonplace. Evil no longer seems evil in a godless culture.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness ... Isaiah 5:20
The difference between right and wrong is turned on its head. One mark of atheistic ethnology is open homosexuality. It is first tolerated, then accepted, then praised, and finally enshrined as the ultimate freedom.
The Lord releases those who have rejected Him to a 'reprobate' mind.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a reprobate mind so that they do what ought not to be done. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:26-28,32
This wickedness has obviously taken root now. We are being bombarded with the nefarious LGBTQ agenda. In the name of 'love', we are demanded to accept their 'alternative lifestyle'. Sadly, some churches have succumbed ... defying the Word of God they once held dear.
Ray Pritchard - Every act of homosexuality, whether in word or deed or in lustful thought; is a personal moral choice. Giving in to that temptation, whether mentally, verbally, or in actual deed ... is a sin. God will hold that man 100% accountable.
Now that we've broached the subject (and refused to tip-toe around the 'elephant in the room') ... please note that things are not necessarily as dark as they appear. With God, nothing is impossible. No one has journeyed so far from the Lord that he can't be saved. As long as a sinner draws breath there remains the opportunity to repent ... even from the deep-seated sin of homosexuality.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1Cor 6:9-11
Praise God for 'amazing grace' ... that He sent His Son into the world to atone for this sin also. Surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ will break the chains that bind the captive and set him free to walk in 'newness of life'.
