Somehow, neurotransmitters generate electrical signals in the brain ... and 'consciousness' happens. If that doesn't prove God's handiwork in creation, I don't know what does.
Countless thoughts flood our minds every day and there seems to be no respite from their oft-disquieting effect. So many are vain and frivolous; so many are impure and polluting; and so many are those of which we would never divulge ... even to our dearest friend.
With the evil taking place in the world now, you may be so tightly wound about your future that those concerns are continually playing in the background of your mind.
Perhaps you are burdened by feelings of grief, thoughts about an unbelieving loved one, or an unsettled spirit because of your own lost condition. The Holy Spirit may be hard at work firing those synapses. Pray accordingly ...
God wants us to trust Him in all of life's situations.
When my anxious inner thoughts become overwhelming, your comfort delights my soul. Psalm 94:19
If you choose to harbor angst about a situation, the course you should take, or what the likely end might be ... your distrust in God's providential care is exposed. Indulgence in such contrivances and fears only adds to your sullen disposition and solves nothing.
When you are weighed down by the unceasing flow of disconcerting thoughts, trusting the promises made in God's Word and the remembrances of His kindness toward you will bring relief and consolation.
