Hell is full of people who never actively opposed Christianity ... they simply neglected the salvation found in Christ. They may have even acknowledged that the Gospel is true, but were not willing to receive it for themselves.
For those who are alive and of that mindset, you have this dire warning ... if every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? Hebrews 2:2-3
Spurgeon - We need not be great open sinners in order to perish; it is merely a matter of neglect. You need not go to the trouble of despising it ... or resisting it ... or opposing it; you can be lost readily enough simply by neglecting it.
If you have yet to draw a line in the sand and make that most vital of decisions ... now is the time. The Word of God reveals the path that leads to redemption.

Confessing that you are a sinner allows honest feelings of contrition to surface.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The penalty 'earned' for sin is revealed and the good news of a 'gift' is revealed.
Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Grace is noted, faith is noted, and your inability to earn the gift is noted.
This is not a religion nor a denomination, it is Jesus ... period.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Even in your sinful state, His love is being extended to you ...
John 3:16,17 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. Two thousand years ago God's plan was put into motion ... redemption through faith in Christ.
Here lies your only task ...
Romans 10:9 Confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead ... and you shall be saved.
Call out to Him ...
Lord, forgive me. I know that I am lost in sin and that I cannot save myself. I believe that you are the only begotten Son of God, that you bore my iniquity on Calvary's cross, and that the grave could not hold you. By faith, I receive the gift of salvation and surrender my life to Your Lordship.
Every believer remembers the day he gave his life to Christ. If you have never received the gift of salvation ... make this your day.
'Neglect' it, no longer.
