WITHOUT FAITH

Salvation comes by 'faith' in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. You cannot inherit eternal life without surrendering to His Lordship.  

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Hebrews 11:6

'Faith' is not arbitrary; it is Christianity's one indispensable condition. The Lord cannot accept those who don't believe in His existence and who fail to understand that His ways are above reproach and singularly perfect. 

So ... being a 'good' person is not enough. 

There are three elements of 'saving faith' ... the firm belief in God's revealed truth, a total surrender to that truth, and conduct congruent with that surrender. (In sum, faith shows itself genuine through a changed life) 

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.  Romans 8:8

Faith is more than a vague conviction that there is a 'Supreme Being'. It is instead a steadfast belief in the God of the Bible as He has revealed Himself through His works, His Word, and His Son. 

It is trusting that God is sovereign, holy, almighty, just, merciful, loving, and ... that He rules and reigns accordingly.

'He is a rewarder of those who seek Him' ... The Lord can always be found by those who sincerely look for Him. Never stop plumbing the depths of His Word, His divine attributes, and His grace.
