The 'Age of Grace' is in its final chapter.
Every end-time prophecy is currently coming to pass. Jesus' return is imminent and the Holy Spirit is moving upon the hearts of those who would be saved, resulting in untold thousands surrendering their lives to Christ.
On the other side, those who thumb their nose at God believe that their iniquitous lifestyle represents a virtuous tolerance to man's right to live as he will.
The gulf between good and evil has widened ...
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, Isaiah 5:20
The account of Noah's flood is set forth as a profound picture of what is to occur in these ... the 'last days'.
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. Genesis 6:6
Jesus described the events that surround His second coming ...
Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. Luke 17:26-27
Although the people of that day were totally depraved, they were not the least bit concerned about their sins. They carried on without a single thought concerning the coming judgment. Noah spent years warning his friends and neighbors what God was about to do.
No one listened.
For those who think that the Lord was hasty in His decision to completely eradicate humankind, the Bible says that He gave them nearly a hundred years to repent while Noah constructed the ark ... God waited patiently in the days of Noah, while the ship was being built. 1 Peter 3:20
During that period, Noah faithfully preached to the people about what was coming but (much like today) their hearts were hardened.
Understanding that time is short, we are to be like Noah and share the Gospel. The final message for a lost and dying world ...
There is an ark in which to weather the soon-coming storm. IT IS CHRIST
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 1 John 2:28
