'Omniscience' is one of God's divine attributes and though our minds cannot fully comprehend the enormity of what that means ... even a limited understanding can usher a man to the foot of the cross.
If a sinner acknowledges that nothing can escape the Lord's purview, he knows that there is nowhere to hide. His 'lost' condition is made evident and the Gospel of Jesus Christ can take root. God's omniscience therefore plays a vital role in receiving the gift of salvation.
He knows you better than you know yourself ...
God knew you before creation and held your future in His hand. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret and intricately put together. Your eyes saw me unformed, yet in Your book, all my days were written, before any of them came into being. Psalm 139:15-16
He has observed even the minutest detail of your life. You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Psalm 139:1-3
He knows your every thought even before you speak. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. Psalm 139:4
He understands your walk of faith. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13
Because of your faith in such a God, you can rest secure in Him. He knew when you would appear in the course of world history ... and with whom you would interact. He knows every time you were hurt, every promise that was broken, and every tear that fell down your face.
The Lord also foresaw your sin in all its ugliness and depravity, yet, in love ... He set His seal upon you and drew you to Himself.
Find comfort in the fact that ... God knows everything and loves you anyway.
