SOMEHOW WE KNOW

A God-given awareness of 'something more' has been placed into the soul of every man. Though a self-described atheist desperately tries to eliminate it from his conscience ... life beyond the grave is a reality that cannot be exorcised from his mind.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

For the believer, this life is merely a necessary step on his journey of faith. He considers himself a sojourner here for he knows that this lost and dying world is not his home.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

God put an 'eternal longing' into the heart of man so that the Gospel message can take root. Out of His perfect love and divine nature, He has imparted the very thing that leads us to the foot of the cross ...

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

The divinely implanted knowledge of 'eternity' provides the impetus for us to flex our 'faith muscle' ... Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

If you've yet to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Savior, there is ... an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, kept by the power of God through faith. (1 Peter 1:4-5)

This is a promise that cannot be broken.

Surrender to His Lordship.
