THE WORD

'The Word' not only refers to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, - Holding fast the Word of Life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. (Philippians 2:16)

... but also to the Person of Jesus Christ - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-2,4)

Salvation was provided through the Word's sinless life, cruel death, and victorious resurrection - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

The Word's atoning sacrifice on Calvary's cross paid man's sin debt, providing a way where there was no way - I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. (John 14:6)

Not only does the Word impart eternal life to every repentant sinner, He continues to abide as 'life' itself I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

Everyone must decide whether Jesus Christ is who the Bible proclaims Him to be. The side you land on dictates your soul's fate ... where you spend eternity hangs in the balance.

I urge you to lay your burden down and surrender to His Lordship.
