HANG IN THERE PILGRIM

The escalating hatred and violence being reported by secular news outlets can be unsettling. These worldly sources can distract and discourage even the most faithful Christian. 

We are to focus instead on God's Word. It filters out everything that seeks to cripple our walk of faith ... Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

You'll find clarity of thought and peace of mind ... Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

Regardless of the evil that draws ever nearer your doorstep, you are to be unflinching in your resolve. Encourage one another, allow love to vanquish fear, and find rest in the middle of the chaos by abiding in your Savior ... For we are made partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end; (Hebrews 3:14)

As the world plummets into previously uncharted depths of immorality, your marching orders are clear ... My beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
