HE IS WORTHY

The apostle Paul was filled with awe and humility when he pondered the greatness of God ... Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:33,36)

In other words, everything begins and ends with God:

Of Him: By His hand all things exist ... For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead. (Romans 1:20)

Through Him: God upholds and sustains the universe through His constant presence and perfect will ... He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:27-28)

To Him: Exaltation belongs to Him alone ... Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (Revelation 4:11)

From start to finish, your every breath and your every heartbeat are under the Lord's sovereign care.

Not only does God oversee your temporary tabernacle, but He is also the source of eternal salvation. He made a way where there was no way ... But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

How can we not praise the Lord for His mercy and grace? It should flow from our heart like a surging river ... continually acknowledging His goodness.

Spurgeon - It is wise to concentrate more and more of our energies upon the one thing, the only thing worth living for - the praise of God. For it is the rehearsal of our eternal song.

We should, like the psalmist, commit ourselves to bringing Him glory ... I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. (Psalm 104:33)

Enter His presence that way, pilgrim.
