THE MOLDABLE MAN

The apostle Paul wrote to the Philippian church, expressing trust in God's ability to ready them for His kingdom ... Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6) He was 'confident' in God's promise to believers ... I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

Followers of Christ are being sanctified, preserved, and completed.
John Piper - The fact that God is at work in his people, changing the thought patterns and preferences of our sinful nature, so that we love what He loves - there's no greater promise than this.

You cannot do this yourself ... But now, O Lord, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our Potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. (Isaiah 64:8)

Intimacy with our Lord and Savior allows the transformation ... And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at his coming. (1 John 2:28)

Let Paul's beautiful benediction echo in the background of your walk of faith ... Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

Be 'moldable' till He comes, pilgrim.
