Here it is, weary wanderer ... the 'compass' that points the way home:
- Romans 3:23 - All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
- Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Ephesians 2:8,9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
- Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- John 3:17 - For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
- Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
The Lord sees the arduous journey you've been on and lovingly invites you to lay your burden down ... Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Open your heart to the One who welcomes you with open arms ...
Jesus, forgive me. I know I'm lost and cannot save myself. I believe that you are the only begotten Son of God, that you bore my sin on Calvary's cross, and that the grave could not hold you. By faith, I receive the gift of salvation and surrender my life to your Lordship.
The compass is in your hand ... use it.
