As the age of grace draws to a close, we are seeing that which was prophesied in Scripture unfold before our very eyes ...
In the last days, perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. (2 Timothy 3:1-4)
This unchecked flood of evil is unconscionable in its depravity, unprecedented in its duplicity, and unrelenting in its discharge. Though the torrent grows louder every day, it seems like a thick haze is hiding the devastation in its wake.
Mankind is being swept up in a hellish delusion ... that immorality is simply our autonomous right to do as we please. It equates sinful behavior with 'freedom of expression', regardless of the consequences.
That reprobate mindset has the followers of Christ wondering ... 'How long, Lord?'
A promised judgment is coming ... Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
David's prayer reminds us that God is our sanctuary while we anxiously await our 'home going' ... Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge until these calamities be overpast. (Psalm 57:1)
Satan is attempting to foster 'hopelessness' by steadily increasing the sound's volume and the fog's density. But his relentless salvos cannot touch those who walk by faith.
Stay strong, pilgrim ... your redemption draweth nigh.
