The Bible declares that we have a 'Jealous God'. The Lord will not endure someone who says he is a believer, yet walks in part-time intermittent loyalty ... professing devotion to Jesus Christ but continuing to worship at the altar of something else.
Their heart is divided; Now they are held guilty. Hosea 10:2
The age of grace is coming to a close and it is vital that you refrain from every form of idolatry ... whether it be rationalistic humanism, economic materialism, new-age pantheism, or anything else that usurps the authority of Jesus Christ as Lord over your life.
I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God. Exodus 20:5
Do you truly understand the negative effect that idolatry has on your relationship and communion with the Lord? There is a love that is meant for Him alone ...
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. Luke 10:27
Prayerfully examine your walk of faith. Is there anything that takes priority over your relationship with Jesus Christ? If so, take decisive steps to destroy that idol and give Him the exalted position that He alone deserves.
