There are times when God seems distant and uninvolved in your personal walk of faith. When you need Him most, your heartfelt prayers go unanswered and you feel adrift without an anchor for your soul.
But your Lord has been there all along ... 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'. (Hebrews 13:5)
What appears to be 'silence and inactivity' is instead a vital step in your growth as a believer. When you allow the process of sanctification to transform you into the likeness of Christ, your trust in His Lordship is tested.
A most profound question comes to your heart and mind ... Are you the center of your life or does Jesus hold that place? Can you truly claim the following verse?
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
