MAKE UP YOUR MIND

Being 'indecisive' about something may be wise at times, especially if you lack pertinent information. However, to be 'irresolute' about the truths found in Scripture is spiritually debilitating ... He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1:6,8)

The Word of God is the sure foundation upon which one's faith is built ... It is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

What the Bible does not condone is wishy-washiness. Having one foot in 'the world' and one foot in 'the Kingdom' creates the war within ... No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. (Matthew 6:24)

Faithless prayer is also considered 'indecisiveness'. The Lord is never brusque ... nor is He impatient with His children. Answers flow unabated from His throne of Grace ... If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (James 1:5)

Any doubts concerning what God has declared to be true can cripple your walk of faith. But if you remain true to your convictions, you'll not be shaken by some 'new wind of doctrine' ... or swayed by 'political correctness'.

Make up your mind.
